![]() ![]() The gameplay is amazing, the animation is out of this world and the production of this game is just absolutely perfect. ![]() I really liked this because not only were the evil revenants defeated, but their living counterparts got to live in the new timeline and didn’t have to die. In MK11, all the characters were “resurrected” so-to-speak by being brought from the past before they all died and placed into the present time of MK11. ![]() Also, the dead characters became zombie-like creatures called “Revenants” that were under the control of the sorcerer Quan Chi. In MKX, those characters are still dead and the game instead focuses on the special forces team, which is the military in this game. The story led to all the main characters that everyone loves like Kung Lao, Jax, Jade and Sub-Zero to die in MK9. What I didn’t like about “Mortal Kombat 9” and “Mortal Kombat X” was that they tried to revamp the franchise and tell an alternative story. To start off, Jade was added back into the game after being absent from the previous game which a lot of fans were upset about. What I really love the most about this game is the story mode and how everything I hated about the “Mortal Kombat X” story mode was resolved in this one. I won’t give her won’t go into too much detail, but eventually she found out the truth about Shao Kahn who lied to her and she joined the side of good. He took Kitana as his daughter reluctantly after Sindel’s pleas and raised her as an assassin. However, a tyrant named Shao Kahn invaded Outworld and stole the throne from King Jerrod and took Sindel as his wife. She was born to King Jerrod and Queen Sindel who ruled over the Edenian Kingdom and all of Outworld. Her backstory is also the most complex and interesting to me. I also love playing as Kitana and using her steel war fans. I know I know, it’s a cheap move, but I am very competitive with the computer players and I feel the need to show off. He is also the one with the cheapest move that I love to spam, which is his bicycle kick. I like to play as Liu Kang mostly because he is the most famous and iconic character. I like the feeling of unlocking characters, but honestly, I’d rather have them unlocked already so I don’t have to put that much effort into getting the characters I want. With this version, I automatically got all 37 characters without having to unlock any which I was very happy and excited about. Secondly, “Mortal Kombat 11,” the Ultimate edition with an additional story mode and 12 new characters adding onto the already 25 in the base game was available to buy on the PS4 for sale. That is until 2021, when I deleted the mobile game because firstly, it was taking up a lot of my time and phone storage. My mother and father said that they used to play it all the time together when they were dating, and if I don’t mind blood, guts and grotesque stuff then it’s fine.Īnimated blood doesn’t bother me I should say, I’m not sure about real life though.Īnyway, I got really good at the mobile game and played it for 2 years. I also wasn’t sure if my parents would allow me to play the game at all, but to my surprise they both were cool with it. I would have loved to play the actual “Mortal Kombat X” game on the Playstation 4 (PS4), but I couldn’t afford it. I got to play as some of my favorite characters like Liu Kang, Kitana, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Jade and Mileena. This version is based off of the 2015 release “Mortal Kombat X,” and it was so much fun. I have been a fan of the Mortal Kombat franchise since 2018, when I downloaded the mobile version of the game. I have got some anxiety and stress built up from a lot of things, and the way I like to get out my frustrations is by playing video games. MK11 is perfect for gamers who love fighting games. ![]()
